What is "Permission to Care" and why is it important?
People are more likely to take risks with their own safety than with the safety of others.
"Permission to Care" is a process whereby each person explicitly gives their colleagues "permission to care about my safety". This creates a psychological responsibility to care and gives each person "authority" to step in when they detect a risk to another person. |
